EUREKA! was Lucas Oakley's first solo exhibition in New York City. The opening was held at Fishs Eddy on September 5th, 2024, and marked the first public unveiling of Oakley's 100 piece cut paper collage series entitled EUREKA! Oakley engaged in a live performance art spectacle on opening night, making a dramatic entrance to reveal that he had become the art, and was glittered head to toe. A piece of original artwork was raffled off benefitting The Stonewall Foundation. Over 200 people attended the exhibition opening. Oakley's work remained on view in the Fishs Eddy Gallery through September 7th.
