Lucas Oakley X Todd Oldham Archive Jewelry
This collaboration began when legendary American designer Todd Oldham and his husband Tony gifted me a vast and personal archive directly from Todd Oldham Studio. Among the treasures were thousands of rare buttons and charms — each hand-sculpted by Todd’s studio in the ’90s, cast in white metal, plated in gold or silver, and embellished with Swarovski crystals. These are not ordinary findings. They are miniature works of art, miniature pieces of fashion history.
To our knowledge, this is the first time a designer has entrusted such a significant portion of their studio archive to a young contemporary artist. This incredible gift from Todd became the foundation for this collection.
Every piece in the Lucas Oakley x Todd Oldham Archive Collection is entirely one-of-a-kind. I design and hand-wire each necklace, bracelet, and pair of earrings with care, giving new life to these 30-year-old studio treasures.
Each jewel arrives nestled in its own handmade drawstring bag crafted from the original hand-dyed velvet curtains from Todd Oldham’s Wooster Street store in SoHo — a tangible fragment of fashion history that travels with the piece.
This is wearable art. Once a piece is gone... it's gone forever. Welcome to the archive.
